I suspect that I am on the ALO list. I handed over my passport to the travel agency four months ago for processing, and they said they would submit it to the immigration bureau for checking. Since then, I have been told to "wait for notification," and my passport has been withheld.

It has been four months now, and there is still no progress, nor has anyone clearly stated whether I can get it back.

I would like to ask if anyone has encountered a similar situation? How long does this usually take? Can I really expect to get it back? Is there any way to actively push this forward?
