The raid targeted a Japanese gambling company located on the 21st floor, led personally by PAOCC director Cruz.
Upon entering the premises, the police found computer screens filled with gambling websites and related applications. Investigations revealed that the gambling company had a very broad customer base, including players from Japan, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Brazil, and other countries, clearly operating as an international POGO hub.
Surprisingly, this illegal POGO company had been operating in the Philippines for as long as three years. During the operation, a total of 200 people were arrested, most of whom were Japanese nationals.
