N1 Partners and RAZE's In-depth Analysis of Product Launch Case in the Canadian Online Casino Market

N1 Partners and the RAZE team have teamed up to launch an iGaming advertising test in the Canadian market, primarily using Facebook PWA as the main source of traffic. 🔴From April 20 to May 8, over 18 days, they achieved about 300 first-time deposits (FTD), and reached a positive ROI on the third day of deployment.

N1 Partners and RAZE chose Canada as their target market mainly because of its higher-paying user group and stable Facebook traffic supply. Compared to other mature English-speaking markets, Canada's CPM is easier to control. However, the core challenge of the market remains prominent, which is the high cost of traffic.

The RAZE team adopted a cautious and comprehensive testing strategy, covering seven brands including N1 Bet, RollXO, Slot Lounge, Slot Mafia, Lucky Hunter, Retro Bet, and Goldex Casino, to collect a richer data sample.

💝Preparation and testing phase

Before launch, the RAZE team added a list of the best-performing slot machines in Canada to N1 Partners and used spy tools to deeply analyze the creative being deployed by competitors and the patterns with the highest CTR. On this basis, they simultaneously ran three advertising optimization models: Auto Bid, Min CPA Cap, and Max Bid. Among them, the Min CPA Cap model performed the most prominently, allowing the budget to aggressively expand to about $10,000 per group once the CPA stabilized, helping to expand more effective traffic.

In the slot machine selection phase, they initially tested 10 products. After strict evaluation, only two from the N1 Bet brand, "Gates of Olympus 1000" and "Coin Volcano," remained profitable, with others being eliminated due to lack of economic viability.

This directly reflects the rigor of mature markets, where even popular products only match specific traffic perfectly. Creative testing also confirmed this rule, with the team trying video creatives, offline casino styles, and classic static ads, eventually finding that simple static creatives (slot machine visuals + bonus display + profit numbers + clear CTA) performed best.

🔴Static creatives have lower costs, facilitating rapid iteration, and ultimately accounted for the majority of the budget.

N1 Partners tailored a conversion path for Coin Volcano, where users would see a welcome bonus, then payment methods, and then a list of popular games in the region, this simple design reduced the cognitive load on users. 🔴The overall ad click-to-registration conversion rate reached 39.83%, and the registration-to-deposit conversion rate reached 37.99%.

💝Scaling and data-driven decision-making

Entering the ad scaling phase, the team implemented multi-dimensional optimizations. First was geographic segmentation, focusing on English-speaking provinces where CPM had more advantages. Next was time optimization, tilting the budget towards evenings and weekends, as these periods showed stronger conversion performance.

More importantly, they adhered to the principle of delayed evaluation, as Facebook's algorithm usually needs to accumulate 30-40 deposit data before it can effectively lock in high-quality audiences. During this period, N1 Partners' analytics team not only monitored CPA and initial deposits but also gradually assessed long-term performance and provided timely scaling or pausing recommendations.

In the first week, the total amount of deposits exceeded withdrawals by more than 30%, rising to 45% in the second week, reaching 50-55% in the third week, and targeting 65-70% in the fourth week. It also required an average of no less than 2.2 deposits per user, with the proportion of single-deposit users not exceeding 70%.

These KPIs allow decisions to be free from subjectivity, avoiding the risk of prematurely expanding weak ad groups. The results show that after the first 30 deposits, the campaign stabilized at about 30 FTDs per day, with a peak of 50 per day. Despite facing account bans and market fluctuations, the overall performance remained robust.

➡️ The final data was quite impressive: 2659 installs in 18 days, CTR maintained at 0.9-1%, CPC controlled at $2.5-4, CPA fell in the $140-156 range, achieving positive ROI on the third day.

Looking back at the entire process, success was due to RAZE's solid Facebook media buying capabilities and N1 Partners' in-depth traffic quality analysis data working together.

In high-cost markets, thorough preparation, quantified KPIs, and decisions based on sufficient sample performance are essential to successfully complete a scaled deployment practice. Even in the most stringent market environments, through specific data-supported strategy iteration and collaboration, positive returns can still be quickly realized and maintained stably.
