PandaScore has obtained a business license in Colorado, marking the company's first entry into the North American market.
This move allows PandaScore to support its existing customers in expanding their esports offerings in the state and enables the company to attract new partners.
PandaScore chose Colorado as its initial point of entry because the state has comprehensive esports regulatory frameworks, including various qualified esports events and regularly bettable matches.
Reports indicate that the state's flexible licensing system supports PandaScore's goals with its products like BetBuilder, player props, and micro-betting.
PandaScore's legal advisor, Alexis Brunet, stated: "The regulatory environment for esports in the United States is rapidly evolving, but the direction of development is consistent: expansion. We plan to offer our products and services to our clients wherever they are, serving one of the world’s largest markets."
PandaScore CEO Flavien Guillocheau added, "We have proven that we understand the market, can efficiently acquire licenses, and operate with a focus on the operators first."
This development follows an agreement PandaScore made with the betting exchange Smarkets, which integrated PandaScore's odds information to enhance its esports products.
The information stream includes a wide range of pre-match markets for events such as League of Legends and Counter-Strike, including player markets, betting generators, and micro-betting products.
